Reduce student dropout rates, increase student satisfaction and help them burst through the obstacles to reframe their reality—overnight! The Empower Me Scholarship encourages the even the most shy and the marginalized to not hold back, to dream big, and to set into play a vision for growth.
With your commitment to give, we'll start the process of sending out a nationwide call for entries to compete for a coveted Empower Me Scholarship. $1,000 is awarded to each candidate who demonstrates an ability to put their words into action as "the best possible version" of themselves.
You will be giving young leaders the tools to understand their strengths and inspire others to join them in their quest to impact their communities, their governments, and even the world.
What's a "Matching Gift?"
A MATCH is a commitment you make to match the donations from other donors 1:1 or 2:1, etc.– up to a preset amount that you determine now. Your gift is essentially used to DOUBLE what others offer.
For example,
“Your donation today will be matched 2:1 up to $50,000.”
If that additional funding is not received, then the full gift amount will not be used.
What About "Challenges?"
A CHALLENGE is a a commitment of your full gift amount, but rather than waiting for other gifts to come in first, it will be used to spark involvement and incentivize additional funds.
For example:
“A generous donor has given us $50,000 towards our $100,000 goal, and challenges you to help us get all the way there to benefit 500,000 children.”
